At 2.00 am ET Thursday, Germany's industrial production data is due. Output is forecast to drop 0.3 percent on month in September, following a 0.6 percent fall in August.
Ahead of the data, the euro held steady against its major counterparts.
The euro was worth 120.26 against the yen, 1.1059 against the greenback, 0.8608 against the pound and 1.0977 against the franc at 1:55 am ET.
