At 5.00 am ET Friday, Eurostat has released euro area final inflation and trade figures. The euro changed little against its major counterparts after these data.
The euro was trading at 119.76 against the yen, 1.0918 against the franc, 0.8561 against the pound and 1.1021 against the greenback around 5:02 am ET.
