Current account data from euro area is due on Tuesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association is set to issue Europe's new car registrations data for October.

Also, Swiss foreign trade data is due at 2.00 am ET.

At 4.00 am ET, the European Central Bank publishes current account data. Economists forecast the euro area current account surplus to fall to EUR 23.4 billion in September from EUR 25.7 billion in August.

In the meantime, Italy's industrial orders and sales figures are due.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurozone construction output data for September is due.

At 6.00 am ET, the Confederation of British Industry is slated to release Industrial Trends survey results for November. The UK order book balance is seen at -30 percent versus -37 percent in October.

At 8.00 am ET, Hungary's central bank announces its rate decision. Economists expect the central bank to hold its benchmark rate at 0.90 percent.
