At 4.30 am ET Thursday, the Office for National Statistics has published UK public sector finance data. The pound changed little against its major counterparts after the data.
The pound was trading at 1.2928 against the greenback, 140.39 against the yen, 0.8567 against the euro and 1.2813 4:03 against the franc around 4:33 am ET.
