Confidence among South Korea's manufacturers are set to fall in December, while confidence among non-manufacturers are likely to improve, survey data from Bank of Korea showed on Thursday.

In the manufacturing sector, the business survey index on business conditions rose to 74 in November from 72 in October. But the outlook index fell to 71.

In the non-manufacturing sector, the business survey index increased to 75 in November from 74 in the previous month and the outlook rose to 74.

The economic sentiment index advanced to 91.5 in November from 90.6 in the prior month.

A reading below 100 indicates that pessimists outnumber optimists. The survey was conducted among 3,233 companies between November 13 and 20.
