The manufacturing sector in Thailand fell into contraction in November, the latest survey from IHH revealed on Monday with a manufacturing PMI score of 49.3.
That's down from the neutral reading of 50.0 in October, and it moves beneath the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.
Individually, there were declines in output, new orders and employment - as well as the deepest fall in new export orders in three years.
Business confidence fell to its lowest reading since September 2018.
