Hungary's export growth slowed in October, data from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office showed on Monday.
Exports rose 6.7 percent year-on-year in October, following an 11.7 percent increase in September.
Imports gained 3.6 percent annually in October, following a 7.7 percent rise in the preceding month.
The trade surplus increased to EUR 514 million in October from EUR 214 million in the same month last year. Economists had expected a surplus of EUR 539 million.
For the January to October period, exports and imports rose by 4.8 percent and 5.5 percent, respectively. The trade surplus was EUR 4.402 billion.
