South Korea's unemployment rate rose marginally in November, figures from Statistics Korea showed on Wednesday.
The jobless rate rose to a seasonally adjusted 3.6 percent in November from 3.5 percent in October. The rate was forecast to remain unchanged at 3.5 percent. In the same period last year, the rate was 3.8 percent.
On an unadjusted basis, the unemployment rate climbed slightly to 3.1 percent from 3 percent a month ago.
The number of unemployed decreased 43,000 to 866,000 in November. At the same time, employment increased 331,000 from last year to 27.5 million.
