South Africa's wholesale sales fell for the third month in a row in October, data from Statistics South Africa showed on Thursday.
Wholesale sales fell 0.5 percent year-on-year in October, following a 3.7 percent decline in September.
On a monthly basis, wholesale sales rose 0.7 percent in October, following a 1.9 percent increase in the preceding month.
For the three months ended in October, wholesale sales decreased 0.4 percent, following a 2.9 percent gain in the preceding three months period ended in September.
Separate data from the statistical office showed that the producer price index rose 2.3 percent annually in November, slower than the 3.0 percent climb in October.
