Malta's producer price inflation eased in November after rising in the preceding month, data from the National Statistics Office showed on Tuesday.
The producer price index rose 1.40 percent year-on-year in November, slower than a 2.22 percent increase in October. In September, prices rose 1.98 percent.
Prices for intermediate goods grew 2.32 percent annually in November and those of capital goods and consumer goods rose by 1.80 percent and 0.84 percent, respectively.
Domestic market prices increased 0.77 percent and non-domestic market prices gained 1.84 percent.
On a monthly basis, producer prices fell 0.23 percent in November, following a 0.20 percent decline in the prior month.
