Business confidence from Germany and consumer prices from the UK are due on Wednesday, headlining a busy day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, Germany's producer price data is due from Destatis. Producer prices are forecast to fall 0.6 percent annually in November, the same pace of fall as seen in October.

At 3.00 am ET, the National Institute of Economic Research, or NIER, releases Sweden's economic tendency survey results for December.

At 3.15 am ET, the NIER is slated to issue quarterly Swedish Economy Report.

At 4.00 am ET, Germany's ifo business confidence survey results are due. The business sentiment index is expected to rise to 95.5 in December from 95.0 in November.

In the meantime, average gross wages data from Poland is due. Wage growth is forecast to rise slightly to 6 percent in November from 5.9 percent in October.

At 4.30 am ET, the Office for National Statistics releases UK inflation and producer price figures. Economists forecast consumer price inflation to remain unchanged at 1.5 percent in November.

UK output price inflation is also expected to remain stable, at 0.8 percent and input prices are forecast to fall 2.2 percent annually in November after easing 5.1 percent in October.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurostat publishes euro area final inflation data. Inflation is seen at 1 percent in November, unchanged from flash estimate, but faster than the 0.7 percent posted in October.

At 7.00 am ET, the Czech National Bank is set to announce its rate decision. The bank is expected to maintain its key rate at 2.00 percent.
