New Zealand's credit card spending grew for the first time in three months in November, figures from Reserve Bank of New Zealand showed on Friday.
Credit card spending rose 1.6 percent month-on-month in November, offsetting a 1.6 percent decrease in October. In September, credit card spending had fallen 0.1 percent.
Domestic billing rose 1.5 percent monthly to NZ$3.615 billion and overseas billings rose 0.8 percent to NZ$487 million.
On a year-on-year basis, overall credit card spending increased 4.5 percent in November, following a 2.3 percent rise in the previous month.
