Norway's retail sales grew in November after falling in the preceding month, figures from Statistics Norway showed on Monday.

Retail sales rose 1.0 percent year-on-year in November, after a 0.7 percent fall in October. In September, sales remained unchanged.

Excluding motor vehicles and gas stations, retail sales increased 1.0 percent monthly in November, after a 0.5 percent decrease in the preceding month.

On a year-on-year basis, retail sales gained 0.8 percent in November, after a 0.3 percent fall in the prior month.
