Confidence among South Korea's manufacturers remained unchanged, while sentiment among non-manufacturers improved at the end of the year, survey data from Bank of Korea showed on Tuesday.

In the manufacturing sector, the business survey index on business conditions came in at 74 in December, same as seen in November. However, the outlook index fell to 73.

In the non-manufacturing sector, the business survey index increased to 78 in December from 75 in the previous month but the outlook decreased to 75.

The economic sentiment index advanced to 92.4 in December from 91.5 in the prior month.

The survey was conducted among 3,270 companies between December 13 and 20.
