Malaysia's producer prices increased in November after falling for twelve straight months, figures from the Department of Statistics showed on Tuesday.
The producer price index rose 1.2 percent year-on-year in November, after a 2.9 percent fall in October.
Among sectors, prices of agriculture, forestry and fishing surged 19.9 percent in November and that of mining rose 6.4 percent. Prices of electricity and gas supply increased to 0.6 percent.
Meanwhile, water supply and manufacturing prices decreased by 2.3 percent and 0.7 percent, respectively.
On a month-on-month basis, producer prices rose 1.3 percent in November, after a 0.2 percent decrease in the preceding month.
