At 5.00 am ET Wednesday, Eurostat has released euro area industrial production and foreign trade data. The euro traded mixed against its major rivals after the data. While the euro fell against the yen, it changed little against the rest of major counterparts.
The euro was trading at 1.1126 against the greenback, 122.23 against the yen, 1.0752 against the franc and 0.8566 against the pound around 5:01 am ET.
