After the release of U.S. retail sales and import and export prices for January at 8:30 am ET Friday, the greenback fell slightly against its major rivals.
The greenback was trading at 1.0840 against the euro, 109.83 against the yen, 0.9812 against the franc and 1.3004 against the pound around 8:32 am ET.
