At 2.00 am ET Friday, Destatis has released Germany's unemployment and import price figures. The euro changed little against its major rivals after the data.
The euro was trading at 1.1003 against the greenback, 119.85 against the yen, 1.0642 against the franc and 0.8542 against the pound around 2:04 am ET.
