The U.S. jobs report for February and trade data for January are due at 8:30 am ET Friday. The greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts before these data. While the dollar fell against the yen, it held steady versus the rest of major rivals.
The greenback was worth 105.07 against the yen, 1.1332 against the euro, 1.3009 against the pound and 0.9342 against the franc at 8:25 am ET.
