Economic confidence from Germany and unemployment from the UK are due on Tuesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 5.30 am ET, the Office for National Statistics is slated to issue UK unemployment data for February. The ILO jobless rate is expected to remain unchanged at 3.8 percent in three months to January.

The UK average earnings including bonus is forecast to grow 3 percent in three months to January after rising 2.9 percent in the preceding period. At 6.00 am ET, Germany's ZEW economic confidence survey results are due. Economists forecast the index to fall to -27.2 in March from +8.7 in February.

In the meantime, Eurostat publishes euro area labor cost for the fourth quarter. At 8.00 am ET, Poland's central bank is set to announce its interest rate decision.
