Statistics Canada will release Canada consumer price inflation for February at 8:30 am ET Wednesday. Ahead of the data, the loonie traded mixed against its major counterparts. While it held steady against the aussie, it fell against the rest of major rivals.
The loonie was worth 1.4391 against the greenback, 74.68 against the yen, 0.8482 against the aussie and 1.5761 against the euro as of 8:25 am ET.
