At 3.00 am ET Thursday, Germany Gfk consumer confidence survey data is due. The forward-looking consumer sentiment index is seen at 7.1 in April versus 9.8 in March.
Ahead of the data, the euro held steady against its major counterparts.
The euro was worth 1.0911 against the greenback, 120.66 against the yen, 1.0629 against the franc and 0.9221 against the pound at 2:55 am ET.
