South Korea's unemployment rate rose in March, figures from Statistics Korea showed on Friday.
The jobless rate rose to a seasonally adjusted 3.8 percent in March from 3.3 percent in February. A similar rate of the unemployment was seen in same month last year.
On an unadjusted basis, the unemployment rate increased to 4.2 percent in March from 4.1 percent in the prior month.
The number of unemployed increased to 1.180 million in March from 1.153 million in February.
The number of employed persons decreased by around 195,000 from last year to 26.609 million.
