Final inflation from euro area is due on Friday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association releases Europe's new car registrations for March. Sales had fallen 7.4 percent on year in February.

At 4.00 am ET, February foreign trade is due from Italy. The trade surplus totaled EUR 542 million in January.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurostat is slated to issue euro area inflation and construction output data. Eurozone inflation is seen at 0.7 percent in March, unchanged from flash estimate.
