Canada CPI for April and wholesale sales for March are due at 8:30 am ET Wednesday. Ahead of the data, the loonie traded mixed against its major rivals. While the currency held steady against the aussie, it rose against the rest of major rivals.
The loonie was worth 77.47 against the yen, 0.9141 against the aussie, 1.3885 against the greenback and 1.5222 against the euro at 8:25 am ET.
