Mortgage approvals data from the UK is due on Tuesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.
At 2.00 am ET, UK Nationwide house price data is due. House prices are forecast to rise 2.8 percent on a yearly basis in May, slower than the 3.7 percent increase in April.
At 2.30 am ET, the Federal Statistical Office publishes Swiss retail sales for April. Sales had decreased 5.6 percent on year in March.
At 3.00 am ET, unemployment from Spain and Austria are due. Also, foreign trade balance and producer price figures are due from Hungary.
At 4.30 am ET, the Bank of England is set to issue mortgage approvals data. Economists forecast approvals to fall to 23,700 in April from 56,160 in March.
