Australia will on Thursday release April numbers for imports, exports, trade balance and retail sales, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
The trade balance is expected to show a surplus of A$7.5 billion, down from A$10.60 billion in March - when imports fell 4.0 percent on month and exports jumped 15.0 percent.
Retail sales are expected to plummet 17.9 percent on month after climbing 8.5 percent in March.
South Korea will provide April figures for its current account; in March, the current account surplus was $6.23 billion.
Thailand will see May results for its consumer confidence index; in April, the index score was 47.2.
