Factory orders from Germany and house prices from the UK are due on Friday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, Destatis is scheduled to issue Germany's factory orders data. Economists forecast orders to fall 19.7 percent on a monthly basis in April, following a 15.6 percent drop in March.

At 3.00 am ET, Spain's INE releases industrial production figures for April. In the meantime, retail sales from the Czech Republic and industrial output from Hungary are due.

Half an hour later, UK Halifax house price data is due. Economists forecast house prices to fall 0.7 percent on month in May after easing 0.6 percent in April.

At 4.00 am ET, Italy's Istat releases April retail sales data. Sales had decreased 20.5 percent on month in March.

At 5.00 am ET, the Hellenic Statistical Authority is scheduled to issue Greece's industrial production for April.
