At 2.00 am ET Friday, Destatis has released Germany's factory orders data. The euro changed little against its major rivals after the data.
The euro was trading at 124.26 against the yen, 0.8986 against the pound, 1.1373 against the greenback and 1.0860 against the franc around 2:05 am ET.
