The Labor Department will release U.S. jobs data for May at 8:30 am ET Friday. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While it rose against the franc, it held steady against the rest of major rivals.
The greenback was worth 109.19 against the yen, 0.9583 against the franc, 1.2679 against the pound and 1.1332 against the euro as of 8:25 am ET.
