Statistics Canada has released Canada jobs data for June at 8:30 am ET Friday.
The loonie rose slightly against its major counterparts following the data.
The loonie was trading at 0.9443 against the aussie, 78.51 against the yen, 1.5343 against the euro and 1.3601 against the greenback around 8:33 am ET.
