The U.S. weekly jobless claims for the week ended September 26 and personal income and spending data for August have been released at 8:30 am ET Thursday. Following the data, the greenback changed little against its major rivals. The greenback was trading at 1.2962 against the pound, 105.52 against the yen, 0.9169 against the franc and 1.1767 against the euro around 8:35 am ET.
