At 4.00 am ET Friday, Eurozone flash PMI data is due. The composite index is expected to drop to 49.3 in October from 50.4 in the previous month.
The euro bounced off against its major rivals before the data.
The euro was worth 1.1828 against the greenback, 123.84 against the yen, 1.0718 against the franc and 0.9036 against the pound at 3:55 am ET.
