At 8:15 am ET Tuesday, Canada housing starts for October are due. Ahead of the data, the loonie traded mixed against its major rivals. While the currency held steady against the aussie, it dropped against the rest of major rivals.
The loonie was worth 1.5557 against the euro, 79.57 against the yen, 0.9582 against the aussie and 1.3095 against the greenback as of 8:10 am ET.
