At 8:15 am ET Tuesday, Canada housing starts for November are due. Ahead of the data, the loonie traded mixed against its major rivals. While the currency climbed against the greenback and the euro, it dropped against the yen and the aussie.
The loonie was worth 1.5470 against the euro, 81.50 against the yen, 0.9598 against the aussie and 1.2753 against the greenback as of 8:10 am ET.
