At 2.00 am ET Tuesday, the Office for National Statistics has published UK GDP and public sector net borrowing figures for November. The pound changed little against its major counterparts after these data.
The pound was trading at 138.65 against the yen, 0.9112 against the euro, 1.3405 against the greenback and 1.1893 against the franc around 2:05 am ET.
