The U.S. final GDP data for the third quarter is due at 8:30 am ET Tuesday. Ahead of the data, the greenback held steady against its major counterparts.
The greenback was worth 103.37 against the yen, 0.8854 against the franc, 1.2241 against the euro and 1.3423 against the pound at 8:25 am ET.
