At 4.30 am ET Tuesday, the Bank of England has released mortgage approvals data for May. The pound changed little against its major counterparts after the data.
The pound was trading at 153.34 against the yen, 1.3847 against the greenback, 0.8597 against the euro and 1.2750 against the franc around 4:35 am ET.
