At 5.00 am ET Friday, Eurostat has released euro area final consumer prices and foreign trade figures. After the data, the euro changed little against its major counterparts.
The euro was trading at 130.05 against the yen, 1.0863 against the franc, 0.8528 against the pound and 1.1816 against the greenback around 5:05 am ET.
