At 2.00 am ET Thursday, the Office for National Statistics has released UK first quarterly GDP estimate for the second quarter, foreign trade and industrial production figures. The pound changed little against its major counterparts after the data.
The pound was trading at 153.11 against the yen, 1.3866 against the greenback, 0.8467 against the euro and 1.2778 against the franc around 2:01 am ET.
