After the release of U.S. retail sales for July at 8:30 am ET Tuesday, the greenback traded mixed against its major rivals. While it changed little against the yen, it recovered the rest of major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 109.37 against the yen, 1.1756 against the euro, 1.3779 against the pound and 0.9119 against the franc around 8:32 am ET.
