U.S. new home sales data for July has been released at 10:00 am ET Tuesday. The greenback edged down against its major rivals after the data.
The greenback was trading at 109.54 against the yen, 1.1753 against the euro, 1.3721 against the pound and 0.9122 against the franc around 10:01 am ET.
