U.S. consumer confidence index for October and new home sales for September have been released at 10:00 am ET Tuesday. Following these data, the greenback changed little against its major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 114.21 against the yen, 1.1608 against the euro, 1.3797 against the pound and 0.9199 against the franc around 10:02 am ET.
