In the week ending April 11, 2025, U.S. crude oil inventories increased by 0.515 million barrels, surpassing market projections of a 0.4 million barrel rise, as reported by the EIA Petroleum Status Report. Conversely, crude inventories at the Cushing, Oklahoma delivery hub saw a reduction of 654,000 barrels, following a previous increase of 681,000 barrels. Additionally, gasoline inventories decreased by 1.958 million barrels, exceeding the anticipated draw of 1.6 million barrels. Distillate stocks, encompassing diesel and heating oil, declined by 1.851 million barrels, surpassing the expected decrease of 1.2 million barrels.
