The Hong Kong market advance in early Wednesday trading after stocks on Wall Street published solid wins overnight, with Bank of China Ltd. ascending after its 2012 profits beat calculations. The Hang Seng Index surge 0.5% to 22,419.99. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index boost 1.2% to 11,050.89, taking a cue from a rebound for mainland Chinese stocks, as the Shanghai Composite soar 0.5% to 2,309.48. Shares of Bank of China jumped 2.5% after posting a 12% boost in 2012 earnings, while Agricultural Bank of China Ltd. spiraling 1.1% after also reporting earnings. Results also pushed up several other stocks, with Jiangxi Copper Co. mounting 2.7% and Air China Ltd. trading 2.2% higher, although Evergrande Real Estate Group Ltd. dropped 9.7% after a 19% decline in profits.
