In July 2025, the Euro Area's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate dropped to 6.2%, a slight decrease from June's 6.3%, aligning with market projections. This rate, equalling its historic low, reflects a robust labor market with a reduction of 170,000 in the number of unemployed individuals, bringing the total to 10.805 million. Youth unemployment, for those under 25, also improved, reaching a record low of 13.9%, down from 14.3% the previous month.
