Tuesday, a report released by the Bank of Thailand said the current account deficit stood at US$935 million in November.
The trade balance showed a deficit of US$896 million. Export value fell 17.7% year-on-year to US$ 11,579 million in the month, the first contraction since March 2002. Import value, however, rose 0.2% to US$ 12,655 million.
Meanwhile, the net balance on the services, income and transfers showed a deficit of US$39 million.
