The US dollar accelerated to its six-year peak against the Japanese yen Friday as it gained broad support from the European Central Bank’s latest monetary easing, as traders expected the US jobs reports due today.
The greenback climbed to ¥105.71, the highest level since October 2008. It last traded at ¥105.60.
