During early deals on Thursday, the South Korean won traded down against the Japanese yen. At 12:50 am ET, the won declined to a 3-day low of 14.3485 against the yen, compared to 13.9495 hit late New York Wednesday. On the downside, 14.91 is seen as the next target level for the South Korean currency.

South Korea's L money supply, the country's broadest measure of money supply, rose 11.5% year-on-year in November after rising at the same pace in October, the Bank of Korea said today.
