In early Asian trading on Friday, the Thailand currency declined against the dollar and hit a low of 34.92 at 10:35 pm ET. The next downside target level for the Thai Baht is seen at 34.986. The dollar-baht pair closed Thursday's New York session at 34.7750.
Thailand will announce foreign reserves data through January 2. Expectations call for a surplus of 110.8 percent on year following a 110.9 percent annual expansion in the previous reporting period.
